A dark patinated bronze statue of the Queen of the Amazons called “Penthesilea.”
The representation is a nude, reclining woman about to shoot an arrow with her bow.

This is a cire perdue (lost wax method) version, executed by the Susse Frères bronze foundry in Paris.
The sculpture is signed with the artist’s name: Bouraine
